Ken Sternfeld, as Founder of RXVIP, had a vision of enhancing the role of Pharmacists in the health care continuum. As an advocate for provider status for our profession, he created a paradigm shift in the way Pharmacists can practice at the height of their license by working at the point of care, right in physician offices.
The concept of Pharmacy Friday was developed so Pharmacists, PharmD and Students of Pharmacy can take a day off from retail to become a Concierge Service Provider (CSP) and be paid for the professional services you deliver.
Ken Sternfeld is the Founder of RXVIP Concierge, a network of Concierge Care Providers (CSP) who work collaboratively with physicians and other health providers, right in their offices to deliver value-based services at the Point of Care with an innovative Wellness Prescription CheckUp that includes Pharmacogenetic (PGx) Testing and Chronic Care Management
Ken is the co-host of the new “PGx for Pharmacists” segment of the Pharmacy Podcast Network, focusing on how Pharmacists, PharmDs and Students of Pharmacy can incorporate Pharmacogenetic (PGx) Testing into Care Coordination and Chronic Care Management Medication Services.
Ken is an advocate for Caregiver Support Services (CSS) a “grassroot” non-profit organization with a 501 (c )(3) tax exempt status to help raise awareness to the fact that over 125,000 patients die each year as a result of experiencing an Adverse Drug Reaction to their medications. Ken helps educate professionals in our industry, by conducting Pharmacists As Caregivers – Sunday Conversations, nationally, to help promote setting up benchmark programs and services for family and professional caregivers. so their loved ones will be able to get a Pharmacogenetic (PGx) test done at their own physician. Ken helps market an innovative patient-centric letter along with a blank prescription form, that patients can take to their doctor and get tested.
